Autofiscaliteit is free and will stay that way. No paid tier, no advertising, no limit on the number of vehicles. Staying online does cost something, though, and that bill is in one person's name.
Contributing is entirely voluntary. If you give nothing, nothing changes: you get exactly the same tool.
Where it goes
A web application does not put itself online. The server, the database, the domain name and the mail delivery each have their own subscription, and those run on whether there are ten visitors or ten thousand.
On top of that there is the yearly work. After the federal budget agreement, the deduction calendar, the minimum benefit in kind, the reference CO₂ figure and the social security numbers all have to be checked and updated against the circulars. A calculator with outdated parameters is worse than no calculator at all.
Hosting
The server that computes and serves the pages, day and night.
Database
Storage for companies, vehicles and saved decisions, with backups.
Domain and email
The domain name and the mail server for registration and password recovery.
Yearly update
The research and the update of the tax parameters after every budget agreement.

Pick whatever is easiest for you. Any amount is welcome, one-off and small included.

The cheapest route: a transfer carries no commission, so your contribution arrives in full. Copy the number into your banking app.

Helping without money
Honestly, this is often worth more than a contribution.
- Pass it on: To a colleague, your accountant or your managing director. Reach is what this tool lacks most.
- Report a mistake: Does a figure not match your tax return or your payslip? I want to know, with the car and the year included.
- Send an idea: A missing car, a scenario that does not fit, a column you keep looking for: it goes on the list.

The small print
- A contribution is a gift, not a purchase. It buys no service, no priority and no promise of support.
- You get no invoice for it and the gift is not tax deductible: this is not an approved charitable institution.
- Every feature stays free for everyone, contribution or not. There will be no paid tier.
- Payment happens outside this website. Autofiscaliteit never sees, processes or stores card or account details of contributors.
